Her Daddy called her "Winter Lynn," and that would have suited her just fine I suppose but there was no way that MOM was going to put up with that, so our T celebrates another year on the planet today without a moniker to match the season of her birth.
There is surely nothing wintery about her personality, her heart, her soul. For us, she is the sunshine and the joyful spirit of our family. She is our social director: the one who keeps us "out" in the world, who makes sure that the cards get bought for every occasion, that all the appropriate presents are purchased and wrapped, that we make it out for the occasional "airing," that we see friends and movies, and that we behave as if we lived in a civilized fashion. She keeps us laughing and playing and singing -- literally.
Today, as she reaches what she might regard as a "significant" age, she is once again busy making sure that all goes well for so many other people. No matter how we might try to get her to slow down and take a few bits of time for her own pleasure and for herself, she WILL be who she is, and she will take care of everyone else. She is all heart -- the dearest of hearts.
We are lucky to have her in our lives and in our home and in our family. Happiest of birthdays!!!
