Nothing is happening here outside of the day to day work of recovering from major surgery and learning an entirely new lifestyle.
We are tired but fine.
Daily, I see the stats declining, and I understand that our silence is sending our readership elsewhere looking for something interesting. I cannot help that. There is nothing to say just now, and I will not fill this space with fluff.
When life comes around and there is anything substantive to report, we'll be back. Until then, play nice.

Glad things are still moving along nicely. I hear you about not posting fluff. My journal is dormant more than it's not.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your hibernation...
Stopping over to say hello and catch up on your blog. Glad to hear that everyone is healing and getting stronger.
ReplyDeleteohhhh god i hear ya about nothing much to write about.. same old same old...
ReplyDeleteBUT the good thing is i am gathering - that everyone is progressing.. slowly.. but progressing...

I also understand, but I'm dying to know if the wound V.A.C. is off the smaller wound. Is the tunneling decreased or gone. How much smaller is the larger wound. It does look like an easy dressing change compared with some I've done, though the tunneling can get a bit tricksy at times.
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe a once a week weigh in a la Weight Watchers?
You are all still in my thoughts and prayers.

Just a note to say, I'm still visiting and I'm still reading!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everyone's recovering fine. =)

just glad you have NOTHING to report .... after all the scariness post-surgery ...be well, heal!
ReplyDeleteI have both sites in my reader dearest, so though I'm not checking in here every day, I won't miss when you DO post something. I hadn't been concerned about it, simply assumed you were too busy to either post here, or visit and comment elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteWill email you, ok?
love and hugs xxx
I'm back, was out of town a bit then catching up family chores so you're back up by one if that helps! We take care of a number of elderly family members so I always say that I dearly cherish the times when our lives are boring, and I have nothing to say. Those times are too rare. I think it's a good sign for now that your life is that way. Hugs to all - keep on keeping on.
ReplyDeleteStopped by to say hello and happy to hear everyone is recovering.

This is YOUR space. Write when you please, what you please, to please yourself and, if you wish, your family. The rest of us will be grateful for whatever you wish to share.
ReplyDeleteAh Swan -
ReplyDeleteSome readership may have dropped off, but you know your friends will be waiting for you :) I too keep up with both sites, and am glad that things seem to be smoothing out after those first harrowing weeks.
Hugs to ya, and take care of yourself.
I like the cartoon, I saw it the other day and grinned (I'm scattered lately, didn't comment at the time, I can now, though)
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the stats; stats mean little. Really. :)
I have taken my blog down before entirely, once for a year, (only partially; the other reasons were...long and tedious and about my own issues I won't go into) anyway, *partially* because I knew many of the people visiting were looking for sex or porn or spanking or drama or whatever.
Okay, we had that. But there was much more than that, too.
People can come back for who I am or not at all.
Don't worry about the stats, be happy those looking for drama or whatever are going elsewhere now.
yep, silence is good or necessary or just what is. i almost cried when i read the snuggle post.
ReplyDeletehope you are doing better this week.
