We are headline news!

We are, as you already know, here at Winter Wickedness and having a wonderful time. The local (presumably conservative) news station have us as headline news -- oh the perversity of it all... They (news reporters) are doing live shots from in front of the hotel, bemoaning all the "blacked out" windows... It really is seeming to make them very sad that they aren't getting to SEE all the pervertedness that they are imagining is happening behind the black curtains. Typically, those who say that WE shouldn't be doing this sort of thing have themselves all in a lather over what they are picturing in their minds. Everyone has their prefered perversion I guess. Shrug.

To their credit, the more mainstream media seems to have determined that we are not a story and gone on to cover the news. Good for them!

The pastor "also raised a question about the cleanliness of the areas after the conference is complete, as conference rooms and spaces used for the event could be the site of a meeting or wedding the following day. What about the public areas of the hotel, like the pool?"

Tsk! Tom, swan, T , for the sake of 'public' sanitation, would you please stay out of the pool?

Really, the whole thing is just mind boggling!

PS. Just checking...if the good pastor and his God fearing wife have sex in a hotel room, and then the next day it is rented out to a woman with her young children, is the room somehow left cleaner? Would that be due to the matrimonial sanctity or the missionary position used in the sex act?

  2. LOL! Thank you, sara. I worked, for a period of time, managing hotel housekeeping, and I can tell you that there is no place in a hotel that is "sanitary." Your room will have clean towels and clean sheets, but bedspreads, blankets, carpets, shower curtains, upholstery -- ummmm, no. Hotels only clean those kind of items when there is visible staining or damage. And, I can also tell you that there is no end to the sort of perversions that go on in hotel rooms. Seems to me that we've got the usual situation of people imaging thing that just aren't so -- we aren't nearly as bad as they think, and they've been living all along with the "health issues" of hotels without ever even contemplating it. Whatever!

  3. Oh man, now you've ruined the hotel experience for me. I guess I won't be eating off the carpets any more, lol.

  5. I'm still thinking about the perversions that pastor has no doubt done in countless hotel rooms with countless numbers of people...

Ok...as a follow on from Sara's comment, I now have this image of Tom trying to get a cane to slice through the water (and hey, the water would keep it nice and pliable too!!!)

On the plus side swan, it shouldn't hurt too much...lol
